Flat Plan

These illustrations demonstrate my general ideas for my front cover, contents page and double page spread. once creating a basic layout for each page I then went on to creating a name which would captivate and express hip hop with a ring to it, with these objectives in mind I then went on to naming my magazine HHW, short for Hip Hop Weekly. The decision to use the beginning of each word due to it being easy to notice and catchy. This idea was taken from the established XXL Hip Hop magazine.
